Senior Center Report

— We are seeking plant and seed donations for our garden. The following plants and seeds are needed: Vegetables - tomato, green bell pepper, cucumber, yellow squash and zucchini. Flowers - giant sunflower, marigold and zinnias are needed. All donations can be dropped off at the Senior Center located at 1870 Limekiln Road in Gravette.

The vegetables will be used to help supplement our congregate lunch program and Meals and Wheels program. The flowers will be used for fresh cut arrangements at the Center and to help control the insects in the garden.

Gravette Gleamers 4-H Club has volunteered to help and weed the garden this summer. We appreciate their support and help very much. Tentative planting date is May 1, weather permitting.

We want to remind everyone of our Annual Health Fair coming up on Wednesday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will have several guest speakers, information booths, free blood pressure, pulse-ox and blood sugar screening. Vision screening by Roberts & Philpott Eye Associates. Massages by Wildwood Massages will be available also. There will be drawingsfor door prizes from local merchants.
