William Lee Lovell

William Lee “Dick” Lovell, 82, of Bentonville, died on April 23, 2010, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 21, 1927, in Bentonville, to Rick Lovell and Mary Caldwell Lovell, the youngest of 10 children. He served in the United States Army Air Corps. He enjoyed playing dominoes with his grandchildren, was an avid coon hunter and loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Gladys Lovell; one son, Jimmy Lovell; one grandson, Chris Hickman; and one granddaughter; April Emerson; his two sisters; and seven brothers.

He is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Hufford of Bentonville, Sharon Ward and husband James of Bentonville, Patricia Hickman and husband Everett of Gentry, Cathy Hacker and husband Dean of Bentonville; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandson.

Funeral services were April 27 at Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville with Ronnie Roughton officiating. Burial followed at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Leonard Lovell officiating. Full military honors were provided by the American Legion Post 100 Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard.

Arrangements were by Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.

John G. Sugg

Dr. John Gabriel Sugg, Sr., died April 17, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Gentry, the son of Edwin Green Sugg, Sr., and Artincie Mae Gabriel Sugg. He graduated from Gentry High School in 1940 and attended John Brown University before serving in the U.S. Navy from 1943-46 in the Pacific Theater of World War II. He graduated from Northern Illinois College of Optometry in 1949 with a doctor of optometry degree. He practiced in Siloam Springs and Fayetteville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters GraceVincent, Maxine Ediger, and brother Edwin Sugg, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Wiggans Sugg; four children, John Sugg, Jr., of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Mary Bassett and husband Tod of Fayetteville, Ark., Edwin Sugg, II, of Madison, Ind.; and Phillip Sugg and wife Jennifer of Springdale; and a brother, Dale Sugg and wife Peggy of Siloam Springs.

There will be a celebration of his life Monday, May 3, at 4 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.

All cremation arrangements are by Epting Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

Kimberly Marie Winkler

Kimberly Marie Winkler, 39, of Dutch Mills, died April 25, 2010, at her home in Dutch Mills.

She was born July 18, 1970, in Manteca, Calif., the daughter of Orvel Carl and Colleen Hanks Branson.

She graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1988 and was employed at McKee Foods Corp in Gentry for 15 years until her illness. She attended the The Sanctuary Church in Lincoln.

Survivors include her husband, Jon Mark Winkler of the home; two daughters, Loren Paige Winkler and Whitney Joleen Winkler, both of the home; one brother, Brian Keith Branson of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Misti Dawn Brown and Jami Lee Brown, both of Siloam Springs; her father and step mother, Orvel and Miriam Branson of Rose, Okla.; her mother, Colleen Brown of Siloam Springs; paternal grandmother, Marie Branson of Siloam Springs; maternal grandmother, Wanda Hanks of Plainview, Neb.; maternal grandfather, Don Hampton and his wife Wynell of Houston, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at The Sanctuary in Lincoln, with David Mc-Bride officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow. There will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
