Break-in foiled

— An automatic burglar alarm apparently foiled an attempted break-in at the Teasley Drug in Gravette last Wednesday.

Alerted by the alarm system, when Officer Jeff Turner arrived at the scene he found the glass in the rear door at the store had been compromised and shards of glass littered the area. Store owner Ron Teasley said that the would-be burglars were scared off and nothing was disturbed or missing from the building.

Drug store robberies are common, according to authorities, since those crimes usually are drug related.
