It’s still hot weather. We were to have a change by the first of the week, maybe rain and cooler temps.
I had company from Indiana come in Friday and they were here until Sunday, Jerry and Jo Ellen Tucker, Jim and Joe Tucker, all from Lawrenceburg, Ind. I sure enjoyed them.
The Tucker reunion was held Sunday at the community center with good attendance and lots of good food, lots of good gospel singing also. We had some good singers and a good pianist, Orpha Wardlaw. It was an enjoyable day.
My nephew, Rick Vandiver of Pineville, Mo., visited me Saturday morning. His team was riding in the parade. A niece from Bentonville, Becky Vandiver, and another niece, Sarah Vandiver, visited me also.
Marvin and Bert Ballmann and Luke have returned from a trip to Oregon. They report a good trip.
