MAYSVILLE NEWS

We have almost made it through August, which is usually the hottest month of the year. Seems like the summer has really been hot.

Jewel Lukens visited Norma Holloway one evening this week. I’m sure they had a good visit.

Shelly Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker. They always enjoy her.

David and Laura Miller of Jay, Okla., were our guests for morning services at the Maysville Bible Church. They are missionaries and have Bible classes in different towns, in Jay and Colcord and a couple more. They gave us a good program and slides of their work, which is very good and needed.

Steve and Susan Tucker and Sheldon of Bella Vista, Seth and Melody Tucker of Harrison, Byron and Tracy Warren and Skyler of Gravette visited me on Friday evening. I enjoyed that very much.

Sylvia Tucker visited me on Monday afternoon of last week. We had a good visit.

Maysville E. H. Club received a blue ribbon on our educational booth at the Benton County Fair.

Jewel Lukens reported a flock of geese were seen last week near Maysville and they were flying south. This is unusual for August. She heard that a flock stays over around Bella Vista all year.
