GENTRY — The Benton County Solid Waste District has scheduled a public hearing on an application from Energy Sourcefor development of a solid waste transfer station near Gentry.
The hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday to allow interested parties to comment on the proposed certificateof need. The hearing will be held at Centerton City Hall, 290 Main St. Anyone wishing to submit written comments may do so through Jan. 12.
Comments may be mailed to Benton County SolidWaste District, 5702 Brookside Road, Bentonville, 72712. The application is available for review in the district office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
