GRAVETTE — The American Cancer Society tree was lighted on Friday at a special ceremony in Gravette.

Names of cancer victims, survivors, military personnel and others were read as the white, red and blue lights were turned on for the first time. The tree's lights will continue to shine throughout the holiday season. Even though the lights are on, contributions may still be mailed to Ruth Foster at P.O. Box 1076, Gravette, AR 72736.
