— We were sure getting winter temps over the weekend and it was supposed to be even colder Monday morning. I’m sure it will be colder before winter is over.

Christinia Lovell has returned from a trip to Atlanta, Georgia, as an award for winning the top State 4-H Club Recordbook. Congratulations, Christinia.

Steve and Susan Tucker came out last Sunday evening, got me and my neighbor Lowess Jasper and took us to the Christmas musical program at the First Baptist Churchin Bentonville. We really did enjoy it. After that they took us around Bentonville and Bella Vista to see Christmas lights. They took us to see their which were beautiful and took a lot of work. They also showed us the ice skating rink in Bentonville. We had a good evening out.

Patti King of Lowell, Ark., visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day this week.

Jewel Lukens visited me one morning this week. We had a good visit.

Maysville 4-H members, this Thursday, Dec. 16, is our Christmas party in the home of Bert Ballmann.Bring a $1.00 gift wrapped for the game and a $10.00 gift for the gift exchange. Bring food of your choice for the lunch.

Any E. H. Club members who have some Best Choice labels should bring them to Jewel Lukens at the club meeting Thursday.She needs a few more so she can mail them by the end of the month to get our extra credit. Anyone else who has some call Jewel, 479-291-4643, and she will make arrangements to get them. That is one of our projects to get cash to help with building expenses.
