WESTSIDE — The Dec. 22 edition of the Westside Eagle Observer incorrectly reported that Virginia Brown retired from the position of president of Decatur’s Iva Jane Peek Public Library Board.

That report should have stated that Virginia Davis retired from the Iva Jane Peek Public Library Board.

The newspaper apologizes for the error.
