NORTHWEST ARKANSAS — Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport showed a 6.33 percent decrease in passengers during 2009 from the previous year, officials report.

The airport had 411,103 paid passengers last year compared to 454,670 in 2008. Officials expect a 3 percent increase this year.

It was noted that Tulsa numbers were down 11.6 percent last year from the previous year.
