Gravette Woman Injured In Fatal Accident

GENTRY — A Siloam Springs woman was killed and a Gravette woman injured in an accident north of Gentry on Highway 59 last Thursday.

According to the Arkansas State Police, Ravenna Floyd, 55, of Siloam Springs, driver of a northbound vehicle, died in the two vehicle accident.

Injured was Samantha Eggebrecht, 26, of Gravette, driver of the southbound vehicle.

Both were taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville where Floyd was pronounced dead. Eggebrecht is still undergoing treatment.

Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, the police report indicated.
