GENTRY — Gentry will soon be getting a new McDonald’s with groundbreaking to be in February, according to Bill Matthew of Springdalebased Matthews Management Company

The drive-in will be located at the corner of Arkansas Highways 12 and 59 and will employ about 40 persons, the announcement said. The site was chosen because of highwaylocation and Gentry’s job base.

The new restaurant had been rumored for several years and is the first planned by the firm in two years.
