— Lorenzo Caro Jr.

Lorenzo Caro Jr., 32, of Springdale, died Jan. 21, 2010, at Mercy Health in Rogers.

He was born July 21, 1977, in McAllen, Texas, to Lorenzo Sr. and Rebecca Caro. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his parents of Tulsa, Okla.; two children, Lorence Caro of Gentry, and Isbel Caro of Springdale; and four sisters, Erica Caro of Springdale, Esmeralda Caro of Pharr, Texas, Melissa Caro of Mission, Texas, and Myra Caro of Tulsa.

Funeral services were held Jan. 27, 2010, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Burial was at Bell Cemetery in Watts, Okla.

Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ravenna Arlene Highlander Floyd

Ravenna Arlene Highlander Floyd, 55, of Siloam Springs, died Jan. 28, 2010.

She was born Aug. 31, 1954, to Jim and Etta Highlander. She lived much of her adult life in Topeka, Kan. She was a nurse for more than 30 years and worked most recently with Dr. K. Marcus Poemoceah of Gravette. She taught a youth Bible class and enjoyed photography and painting.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dawnetta Highlander and Jenny Jarvi. She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Christopher and Alayne Floyd and Timothy and Teresa Floyd; and five grandchildren

Funeral services were Feb. 1 at the Siloam Springs Seventh-day AdventistChurch. Arrangements were by Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.

Ronnie Lee Sparks

Ronnie Lee Sparks, 57, of Siloam Springs, died Jan. 26, 2010, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs.

He was born March 20, 1952, in Hoisington, Kan., to Charlie and Joyce Reynolds Sparks. He married Diane Ryan on March 17, 2000, in Gravette.

He was a surveyor in the early 1970s in Northwest Arkansas and was manager of Dixieland Lanes from the 1970s through the early 1980s. He opened the first Car-Mart of Siloam Springs in 1983, and opened his own car dealership, Mo Motor Company in 2005, where he worked until the time of his death. He was an avidbowler, pool player and golfer.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Randy Sparks and wife Karen of Bentonville; a daughter, Melanie Meridith and husband Bryan of Colcord, Okla.; three grandchildren; five brothers, Gary Sparks of Elkins, Chuck Sparks of Newcastle, Texas, Kenneth Sparks of Siloam Springs, Brian Sparks of Yakima, Wash., and Rodney Sparks of Rogers; and three sisters, Kathy Hamblin of Azle, Texas, Dixie Sparks of Siloam Springs and Patty Sparks of Weatherford, Texas.

Funeral services were Feb. 1 at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
