Lions Teams Fall To Huntsville Team

— The Gravette Lions and Lady Lions traveled to Huntsville Friday night. The Lions dropped their game 65-29 while the Lady Lions were topped 55-42.

The Eagles, who have a record of 22-4, were just too much for Gravette as they jumped to a 20-6 edge at the end of the first quarter and ran it to 44-13 at the half.

Hendren led the Lions with 8 points; Daniels, Lovell and McGarrah all had 4, with Strzelecki, Montee and Bilderback each scoring 3.

The Lady Eagles were equally dominant as they ran their season record to 17-7 as the Lady Lions struggled. The score was 24-13 at halftime.

The second half scoring was almost equal with Huntsville garnering 31 points to 29 for the Lady Lions.

Samantha Vanotterloo led the Lady Lions with 13 points, Bayley added 7, Himsl 6, Detring, Newell, Alsup and Nichols each pitched in 4 points.
