New Athletic Building For School At Greenland

GREENLAND — Building a new 6,000 square foot weight room concession stand-restroom complex at the Greenland football field will cost between $50,000 and $100,000, according to the school athletic director.

Lee Larkan said the money would have to come from private sources and fund-raising efforts in the community.

The Greenland district was recently released from its “fiscally distressed” status. State funds can not be used for athletic facilities, Larkan said.
