No decisions were made and no new business was discussed at Monday’s meetingbecause of the lack of attendance. Recently elected committee chairman Tripp Lapham expressed concern because the ATV Rodeo, planned for June 12, is just months away.

During the city council meeting, following the Parks and Recreation Committee meeting, Mayor Bill Montgomery reported he has contacted the hot air balloon pilot and the carnival about Bulldog Days festival on Aug. 7 and 8, but doesn’t have the dates confirmed yet.

The next Parks and Recreation Committee meeting will be held at 6 p.m., March 4, in the city council room.
