Siloam Wil Receive Creek Cleanup Grant

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

— The City of Siloam Springs will receive a $540,00 matching grant from the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission to restore Sager Creek between the dam and the low water bridge in that city.

Although the grant is distributed by the state it is actually federal money, said Tony Ramick, supervisor of the program for the state agency. This is the second phase of the restoration project and another grant will probably be sought in 2012.
