GRAVETTE — The Gravette FFA Supporters met Tuesday, February 9, at the high school Agricultural Department.
Our first order of business was to accept final changes to the membership forms. These will be circulated in the community by members of this organization and students in our local FFA chapter. A receipt will be mailed to you. If you choose to include your e-mail address you will be notified of activities, fundraisers and accomplishments.
A scholarship application was approved. It will be available to students at the counselor’s office andthe Agricultural Department. Applications are to be filled out and returned by March 31. A scholarship committee was appointed to select recipients of the scholarship.
The scrap metal fundraiser in progress has already shown success. It was reported that product has been collected and bank deposits made since our last meeting. If anyone is interested in donating scrap metal to our cause contact Dale Denver at 479-381-7061.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 9, at 6:30. We meet in the high school Agriculture Department.
