Maysville News

— Sunday was a rainy, gloomy day. The weatherman called for possible snow flurries that night but thankfully they missed us.

Maysville E. H. Club members, remember this Thursday, Feb. 25, is our regular club day. It will be in the home of Nikki Crawley. She is hostess and also has the lesson. Jewel Crawley will bring the 25 cent package and each member should bring their volunteer hours for December, January and February. This meeting will be January and February combined. We did not have our January meeting because of the snow.

Les and Jean Martindale, Jack and Sylvia Tucker went to Grove to the Rib Crib to eat on Friday evening.

My great-grandson, Jacob Ballmann, spent Saturday afternoon with me while his parents, Matt and Karla, went to a cattleauction. I always enjoy him staying with me.

Seth Hughes celebrated his 19th birthday Saturday night with friends and relatives in the home of his parents, Marvin and Lesa Hughes. Happy Birthday, Seth. Hope you have many more.

Several Maysville 4-H members took part in the pie contest on Saturday afternoon at the Benton County Fairgrounds including Shyenne Fowler, Tabitha Crawley, Jessica and Brittany Crawley and Christinia Lovell. These are the names that were given me. If you entered and I did not name you I am sorry.

News is very short. I needed to put in a reminder of the club meeting or there probably wouldn’t be any news. Call me, 1-479-787-5712, or mail items to me, P. O. Box 1504, Gravette, AR. I need news items.
