Floyd Leonard Harrelson

Floyd Leonard Harrelson, 49, of Gentry, died Jan. 4, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

He was born Feb. 2, 1960, in Bentonville to Don and Mable Bauer Harrelson. He was a maintenance facilitator and worked for Gates Rubber Co.

Survivors include his wife Cheryl; his dad, Don Harrelson of Siloam Springs; two sons, Donald Harrelson and wife April, and Josh Robinson and wife Doris, all of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Debbie Jones and husband Russell, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., and Marianne Tyer and husband Ronny, of Rose, Okla.; two brothers, Kendall Harrelson and wife Pam, of Gentry, and Ronald Harrelson and wife Andrea, of Siloam Springs; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial followed at Dickson Cemetery, near Cherokee City. Arrangements were byWasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Ruth Holzkamper

Ruth Holzkamper, 100, formerly of Gentry, died Jan. 10, 2010, at her home in Hendersonville, Tenn.

Born Nov. 7, 1909, in Springdale, she was the daughter of George T. Kerr and Eva Elmore Kerr. She was a food supervisor of schools and also worked as a nursing tech. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Woodruff and Robert Holzkamper; and one son, John Woodruff.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Eva Gill of Gentry, Ellen Mustoe and husband Bob Berleen of Lynnwood, Wash., Sarah Ruth Earnhardt and husband Bill of Glenpool, Okla., and Margaret Carver and husband Lloyd of Hendersonville; one son, Tim Holzkamper of Savannah, Ga.; one step-daughter, Connie Thunderbird; two stepsons, Robert Holzkamper and Martin Holzkamper; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 25 greatgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with William Earnhardt, Don Hevener and Glenn Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery in Gentry. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Bill Gene Rankin

Bill Gene Rankin, 48, of Rockaway Beach, Iowa, died Jan. 4, 2010, at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

He was born Dec. 9, 1961, in Gravette to James Terry Rankin and Vera Beth Calkins. He was a sales manager for Time Shares, Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Rankin of Rockaway Beach; two sons, Justin and Billy Rankin of Canada; one daughter, Jessica Lee Rankin of Canada; his parents of Gentry; four brothers, including Tommy Calkins of Gentry and Randy Bryson of Decatur; five sisters, Rhonda Calkins of Bella Vista, Valerie Ratlift of Bentonville, Tonja Tag of Gentry, Taria Hannold of Gentry, and Beverly Harris of Decatur.

Services were Monday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Burial was at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Ferne Evelyn Smith

Ferne Evelyn Smith, 96, of Gravette, died Jan. 8, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born Oct. 20, 1913, to Lafayette and Mary M. Hall Schell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Gravette

Survivors include two daughters, Orlene Webb and husband John, and Cleta Whitman and husband Glenn, all of Gravette; one sister; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday at the Church of Christ in Gravette. Burial was at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur. Arrangements were byWasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
