GRAVETTE — Youths age 16 and under who are interested in playing competitive softball during the upcoming summer season are advised there will be tryouts Saturday, January 30, at the old gym in Gravette.

Organizers announce the teams will play tournaments in Joplin, Fayetteville, Springdale, Fort Smithand Tulsa areas.

“There will be a mandatory parent/player meeting on Thursday, January 21, at the competition gym from 6 to 7 p.m.,” said Nancy McDaniel, one of the organizers.
