Prairie Grove, Siloam Springs Receive Grants From Stimulus

— The City of Prairie Grove has been awarded $4.8 million in grants and loans and Siloam Springs will receive $4 in principal forgiveness bonds to help build new sewer plants in those cities.

Prairie Grove’s plan is expected to cost $9.4 million while Siloam Springs is in the finishing stages of its new $24 million facility.

The funds are from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, commonly referred to as stimulus money.
