Groundbreaking At Gentry McDonalds

GENTRY — Groundbreaking was held recently for a new McDonald’s Restaurant in Gentry.

Attending the event were Gentry Mayor Wes Hogue, Bev Saunders from the Chamber of Commerce, Bill Matthew and Walter Matthews, owners/ oprators of the new business, and L. R. Mourning, general contractor.

The new restaurant is at the southwest corner of the intersection of Arkansas Highways 12 and 59. It will contain 3,300 square feet, seat 50 persons and employ about 50 persons.
