GRAVETTE — A flag retirement cemetery on the south side of the Civic Center next Tuesday, July 20, at 6 p.m., J. R. Gibbs, adjutant for American Legion Post 25 reminded.

This event was rescheduled from last month due to circumstances beyond the Legion’s control.

Immediately after theceremony the post will serve hamburger and hot dogs grilled by Vice-Commander Mike Carnahan.

“If you should have a flag in need of retirement contact Gibbs at 899-3506 or Post Commander Bill Howard at 787-6356. You may also drop off flags at the City Hall during regular business hours,” Gibbs added.
