We are still waiting for the rain we were supposed to get. Maybe our turn will come. We don’t want the floods but we need the rain.

Christi Wardlaw of Little Rock has been visiting her mother Orpha Wardlaw during 4th of July weekend and last week.

I think she planned to go home Sunday or Monday.

She visited church last weekend and gave an update on her mission trip to Africa. She said she plans to go next year.

She also sang a special at church which we enjoyed.

Clifton and Judy Tucker of Owasso, OK, came over on Saturday. We went to Bella Vista to help a grandchild celebrate a birthday and visit. They came to my house Sunday and we had a good visit. Clifton called to say they made it home fine and they hadnot got rain.

The Marvin Hughes family are enjoying a visit with their daughter Joni and children.

Christinia Lovell, a Gravette student, has returned from a trip to Chicago. She received a gold medal but I’m not sure what activity it was in.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Saturday and brought them some raisin bread from the Atlanta Bread Company.

Wilma Owens visited Jewel Lukens one day this week.

My great-granddaughter Skyler Warren made a trip to Orlando, FL, with a group from Gravette school in competition. She reports a very good trip.

Marvin and Bert Ballmann have returned from a vacation trip in Michigan. They went to visit their son Pete Ballmann and family.
