— It was a beautiful sunny morning on Saturday, with a light breeze in the air, when 18 local 4-H members showed up bright and early at the Bentonville Square to participate in the 2010 County 4-H Garden Fair.

Tables were covered with exceptional produce and flowers in many categories. After being judged by master gardeners, nine awards of Wal-Mart gift cards were presented for top honors. Five exceptional entries were awarded: Wyatt Philpott - red tomatoes; Dustin Dixon - flower arrangement, Matthew Lambert - veggie man; Marissa Beeman - yellow onions; and Matthew Nance - sunflower head. Two were Market Basket winners - Wyatt Philpott in first place and Olivia Weathers in second.

Overall highpoint winners were junior Wyatt Philpott and senior Dustin Dixon.
