Word has been received here that Beau Bertschy has passed away at his home in Georgia. Sympathy is extended to his family.

I received word this week that a former classmate, Jean Johnson Stephens, had passed away at her home in Granbury, TX. We send sympathy to the family.

Those having lunch with Ward and Paula CArrier on Sunday were Mike, Gabe, Brian, Diane, Tom, Amy, Lofty, DaleLynn, Lamarise, Trevor and myself.

Bro. Vendall Dollarhide from Mission Printing of Arlington, TX, was guest speaker at the Hiwasse Church of Christ on Sunday.

When Karen Burns went to Gravette this week to pick up a quilt from the quilters she met oldfriends Jean Nease, Betty Howard and Wanda Austin and they had a good visit.

The First Baptist Church of Hiwasse has enjoyed VBS this week.

Kim Allen visited with Karen Burns one day this week.

Maxine Holloway spent Saturday night and Sunday with her daughter Carolyn Taylor and family in Garfield.

It was good to see Ruby Hight able to be in church on Sunday.

Sympathy is extended to the Holloway family in the loss of their loved one this week.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Trey Smith who were recently married.
