Summer has made its way here. We will probably have it for a while. It isn’t August yet.

Christinia Lovell and another girl from Gravette attended the National FBLA convention in Nashville, TN, last week.

The Hill and Singleton families had a reunion at the Maysville Community Building on Saturday. I think they had a good crowd.

Alex Lovell was with a group that went to Bentonville one night this week for a ball game. I haven’t heard any results but I’m sure he enjoyed the trip.

Maysville E. H. Club members, this week is club day (Thursday). We will only have an afternoon business meeting, at 1p.m., to make final plans for our county club fun day at Maysville on Friday, July 23.

Marvin Ballmann, Matt Ballmann and son Jacob went to Kansas City Friday to a farm show. They reported a good day except for the heat.

This Friday is a fun day for all Benton County E.H.

Clubs. Maysville Club is hosting it. Each club member should bring a dessert or side dish. Some guys from the Extension office will be cooking hamburgers for us. We are looking forward to a good day. Registration begins at 9:30.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon this week. They had a good visit and Johnnie gave her some nice tomatoes.
