GRAVETTE — Persons interested in seeking the office of Mayor or City Council member in Gravette or other cities of second class are reminded the filing dates are from next Tuesday, August 4 through noon, August 24.
Candidates must reside within the incorporated limits of the city and those for council must reside in their respective wards. Gravette is divided intothree wards.
Petitions bearing the signatures of at least 10 registered voters must be filed at the office of the County Clerk along with a Political Practice Pledge and a financial disclosure form.
Petition forms and information are available at the County Clerk’s office or by calling 271-1013, There is no filing fee.
