Casey Roy Brinegar

Casey Roy Brinegar, 26, of Arlington, Texas. died July 13, 2010, in Tolar, Texas.

He was born March 21, 1984, in Rogers to Kerry Brinegar and Vicki Woodlee Herbert. He was a flight instructor for Sky Mates in Arlington and attended the Seventh-day Adventist Academy, where he was chaplain his senior year and a member of the Royal Air’s Choir.

Survivors include his father, Kerry and Vanessa Brinegar of Siloam Springs; his mother, Vicki and Ronnie Herbert of Watts, Okla.; four brothers, including Tim Brinegar of Siloam Springs, Wayne Herbert of Watts and Jeremy Herbert of Fayetteville; and a sister.

Services were held July 17 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Gentry. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Gravette. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Ayden Brooke Holcombe

Ayden Brooke Holcombe, 2, of Jay, Okla., died July 13, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She was born Aug. 6, 2007, in Siloam Springs, to Aaron and Tammie Dilbeck Holcombe.

She is survived by her parents of the home; a brother, Aaron C. Holcombe of the home; a sister, Ashley Holcombe of the home; paternal grandparents, David and Gayla Holcombe of Jay; and maternal grandparents, Calvin and Cindy Dilbeck of Jay.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Herman Church in Jay on July 17, with the Brandon McCombs and the James Bryant officiating. Burial was at Ward Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Glenda Kay Murray

Glenda Kay Murray, 52, of Gravette, died July 15, 2010, at her home in Gravette.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1957, in Sumter, S.C., to Lacey Aaron Crossno and Cornelia Elizabeth Thompson. She graduated from high school in Charleston, S.C. She married David Murray on Nov. 10, 1986, in Gravette. She was a member of Shepherd’s Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, David Murray of Gravette; one daughter, Jessica Lynn Murray of Gravette; mother, Cornelia Thompson of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Mikel Thompson of Goose Creek, S.C.; two sisters, Angie Crossno of Charleston, S.C., and Vicky Tortora of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

A memorial service was held July 19 at Shepherd’s Chapel in Gravette, with Dennis Murray officiating.

Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, Bella Vista.

Richard Redmond

Richard “Jerry” Redmond, 69, of Rogers, died July 15, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Village in Bentonville.

He was a member of the New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers. He graduated from Decatur High School. He served his country with the United States Army from 1959 to 1961. He loved fishing and spending quality time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Redmond, of the home, whom he married Oct. 3, 1969; one son, Michael Redmond, of the home; one brother, Terry Redmond and his wife, Melinda, of Decatur; one sister, Pam Garcia and her husband, Rick, of Gentry.

A memorial service was held July 19 at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers, with James Longmate and Johnny Ybarra officiating.

Inurnment will be at a later date at the Decatur Cemetery in Decatur.

Memorials may be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark.

Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville.

Jericho Welch

Jericho “Jerry” Welch, 41, of Colcord, Okla., died July 12, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville.

Born Dec. 17, 1968, in Siloam Springs, Ark., he was the son of Jerry E. Welch and Cheryl Arnold Welch. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and worked as a senior carrier sales coordinator for J.B. Hunt. He was a volunteer for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Arkansas, Western Arkansas Soccer Association, and the Red Cross. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Joplin, Mo.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Cheryl Welch of Colcord; one brother, Eddie Welch and wife Amy of Southwest City, Mo.; one sister, Beth McNail and husband John of Centerton; and his mother, Peggy Welch of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services were July 17 at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, with Larry Ellis officiating.

Burial followed at Bloomfield Cemetery, in rural Gentry.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Estha "Jackie" Lee Dixon

Estha "Jackie" Lee Dixon, 71, died July 19, 2010, in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born in Colcord, Okla., graduated from Watts High School, but spent most of her life in Carson, Calif., where she was an executive assistant for Rockwell International for 30 years. She was married to Buddy Joe Dixon for 43 years. After she retired in 1993, she moved with her husband to Kinta, Okla. After Bud's death, she moved to Watts, Okla. She was an avid reader, and loved playing games of all kinds.

She is survived by her children, Edward Allen Dixon of Tulsa, Barbara Dean Willingham of Bakersfield, Calif., Laura Alice Houchin of Manchester, Mo., Michael Joseph Dixon of Tulsa, and Patric Wayne Dixon of Tulsa; sisters and brother, Barbara Harris of Stillwell, Okla., Mable Victory of Broken Arrow, Okla., William Jackson of Kinta; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Private burial will be at Bell Cemetery in Watts, Okla. Arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
