— Delta Trust & Bank at Bella Vista is sponsoring the fourth annual community spirit golf tournament to benefit the Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center in Gravette on Sunday, August 8.

The four-person scramble has a 1 p.m. shotgun start at the Highlands Golf Course in Bella Vista. Teams will consist of men’s, senior men’s (65+) and mixed team flights. There will be door prizes, prizes per flight and a catered dinner by Highlands Restaurant after the tournament. Mulligans can be purchased the day of the tournament.

The Gravette Senior Activity Center provides meals, transportation and social activities to senior residents of Gravette, Hiwasse, Sulphur Springs and Maysville.

“With the current economic conditions, increases in the cost of living, doctors’ visits and medication have directly affected oursenior citizens. It is so important to help those who sometimes cannot even afford food as an item of their budget,” said Mary Kay Kelley, Director of the Gravette Senior Citizens Community Center. Money raised from last year’s tournament helped support the Meals on Wheels program.

Sponsorship and team registration forms may be picked up at the Bella Vista Delta Trust & Bank location or at any Bella Vista golf course. Entry deadline is Monday, August 2. For information call 479-876-6400.

Delta Trust & Bank was formed in 1999. Along with commercial loans and retail banking, Delta Trust also provides investment, trust, insurance and mortgage services. It has branches in Northwest Arkansas in Bella Vista and Fayetteville, in Central Arkansas in Little Rock neighborhoods and at towns in Southeast Arkansas.
