Gravette Day Schedule Changes Are Outlined

GRAVETTE — Dan Yates, President of the Gravette Chamber of Commerce, announced the following schedule for Gravette Day activities.

Friday, August 13

7 p.m. - Miss Gravette Pageant, at the Gravette High School Performing Arts Center Saturday, August 14

8 a.m. - Farmers’ Market, Old Town Park

7 a.m. - 9 a.m. - Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, Old High School Cafeteria (current Middle School Cafeteria)

9 a.m. - Set up for Parade, Begin at parking lot of the old Gymnasium, line-upalong Charlotte Street

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Food and activities, Kindley Park

11:30 a.m. - Tiny Tots Pageant, followed by crowning of Miss Gravette, Kindley Park

11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Car Show Registration, Old Town Park

1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - “Ripped Pigeon” performing, Kindley Park

1 p.m. - 2 p.m. - Car Show judging, Old Town Park

2 p.m. - 4 p.m. - Open House, New Band and Choir Building at the Middle School and New Fieldhouse at the HighSchool

3 p.m. - Car Show Awards Parade Info

“In preparation for the Gravette Day Parade, organizers ask that the first two blocks of Main Street be cleared of all cars from 9 to 11 a.m. Cooperation from all vehicle owners would be appreciated and we encourage Main Street business owners to pass this message along to their patrons.

“All parade floats and participants may gather at the old high school parking lot for line-up at 9 a.m.

and the parade will kick off at 10 a.m.”
