Softball tournament set July 3

GENTRY — Gentry’s annual Freedom Fest adult co-ed softball tournament will be held in Gentry City Park on Saturday, July 3rd.

Those who would like to enter may contact tournament director Jodye Pool at 790-8988. Teams are encouragedto sign up early because the tournament fills up quickly.

The tournament is part of the annual Freedom Fest celebration in the park. Other events will include inflatable houses and slides for children 12 and under, the rock-climbing wall and a large slide forolder children, arts and crafts booths, games, free wagon rides, an antique tractor and machinery show, a car show, lots of food, bands and local entertainers, and an outstanding fireworks display at dusk.
