Live On Stage Announces Program Schedule

— Live On Stage in NWA has announced concerts for its 35th year of providing musical entertainment to Northwest Arkansas residents.

The concerts are held Sundays at 2 p.m. at Arend Arts Center in Bentonville and include the following performances. (Ticket information appears at the end of this article.)

October 3: Dallas Brass which Michael Levine founded in 1983 features a unique blend of traditional brass instruments and a complement of drums and percussion.

November 14: John Davidson, a television, theater, film and Broadway star, will give a vocal and banjo performance of his favorite songs. He has issued 13 albums, starred on Broadway and has hosted TV shows.

February 27: The New Christy Minstrels, a classic American folk ensemble.

The seven member ensemble began more than 40 years ago and has won numerous awards, produced gold records and entertained at the White House.

April 3: Daniel Narducci and Sherri Seiden sing songs of forbidden love. Narducci, a baritone, and Seiden, a soprano, are versatile artists who perform nationwide. Their performance will include famous Broadway and film love songs.

May 1: Jim Witter’s The Piano Men will present a tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John, highlighting some of the 1970s and 1980s most popular music. Besides piano, the program will include bass, guitar, keyboards and drums.

Season tickets to all five concerts cost $75 for adults which is reduced to $65 if purchased on or before July 4. Single tickets are $25 or $20 for groups of 10 or more. Students can attend each concert for $5 each.

Live On Stage in NWA awards scholarship each year, a number of which have been awarded to Gravette High School students.
