Paula Benson, who had been a coordinator with the Boston Mountain Educational Coop HIPPY Program, has retired after 19 years of service. “As coordinator she was a dedicated and loyal promoter of the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters in the Gravette area,” said Judy Smith, HIPPY coordinator. Benson supervised seven home-based educators who work in Gravette, Pea Ridge, Decatur, Gentry, Lincoln and Siloam Springs. The HIPPY program is now enrolling qualified three and four year olds for the 2010-2011 school year at the schools including Gravette but the office will now be located in Siloam Springs. Call the Boston Mountain Educational Coop, 479-839-3038, in West Fork for enrollment information.
