NORTHWEST ARKANSAS — Paula Benson, who had been a coordinator with the Boston Mountain Educational Coop HIPPY Program, has retired after 19 years of service.
“As coordinator she was a dedicated and loyal promoter of the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters in the Gravette area,” said Judy Smith, HIPPY coordinator.
Benson supervised seven home-based educatorswho work in Gravette, Pea Ridge, Decatur, Gentry, Lincoln and Siloam Springs.
The HIPPY program is now enrolling qualified three and four year olds for the 2010-2011 school year at the schools including Gravette but the office will now be located in Siloam Springs.
