Albert Dunagin was installed new president of the Gravette Lions Club. Other officers were Royce Nease, Bernard McAbee, Julian Hendren, Gib Studyvin, Bob Bayley, Richard Meade, Bill Meade and John Richard Meade. Miss Zanetta Reed, a student at the State Teacher’s College at Conway was recently a member of the 37 voice state Baptist choir. During the recent visits of the mobile x-ray unit, 2,295 x-rays were given in the county and 18 cases of TB were discovered. Three Gravette men were pictured in their U. S. Air Force uniforms: Howard Dean Kerr, Richard L. Puryear and Franklin Lock. All completed basic training. The City Council passed the Green River Ordinance which governed doorto--door salesmen in the community.
