— Albert Dunagin was installed new president of the Gravette Lions Club. Other officers were Royce Nease, Bernard McAbee, Julian Hendren, Gib Studyvin, Bob Bayley, Richard Meade, Bill Meade and John Richard Meade.

Miss Zanetta Reed, a student at the State Teacher’s College at Conway was recently a member of the 37 voice state Baptist choir.

During the recent visits of the mobile x-ray unit, 2,295 x-rays were given in the county and 18 cases of TB were discovered.

Three Gravette men were pictured in their U. S. Air Force uniforms: Howard Dean Kerr, Richard L. Puryear and Franklin Lock. Allcompleted basic training.

The City Council passed the Green River Ordinance which governed doorto--door salesmen in the community.

Airman 3rd Class Eddie Galyean was home on furlough before reporting for service at San Angelo, Texas.

Bro. H. C. Dixon of Jamaica will be at the annual Northwest Arkansas Camp at the Holiness Bible School. Seven services daily June 30 - July 10.

The KKK (Kill Kare Klub) ladies met at Bell’s Restaurant at Noel for their meeting. There were 26 members and guests present including Mrs. L. M.
