Haying In The Ozarks

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

Cumulus clouds, thunderheads and haying

are all part of the Ozarks in the summertime, as evidenced by these photos taken near Maysville several days ago.

Even though the first cutting of hay was somewhat late this year, it is mostly baled.

Pastures are waiting for ample rainfall to secure a good second cutting. . . .and

possibly a third cutting of bermuda and other hay crops.
