SPRINGTOWN — A public meeting will be held in Springtown’s town hall at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, to identify potential outdoor park and recreation needs and priorities in the town for 2011.

Once needs are identified and prioritized, town officials will select projects, based on needs and priorities, and submit them in matching grant applications to the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism.

Ethnic minorities, persons with special needs, persons over 55, and special interest groups are also invited to attend and participate in the process.
