Pea Ridge Museum Opens This Week

— The Pea Ridge Historical Museum will reopen this Saturday, March 6, the 148th anniversary of the Civil War Battle of Pea Ridge.

The museum will feature new exhibits made possible by the donation of display cases donated to the city by the Pea Ridge National Military Park. Thepark was recently upgraded and received new display equipment.

The Pea Ridge Museum is located at 1451 North Curtis Avenue. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday only or by appointment by phoning Mary Durand, 586-5574. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
