Family Fun Available At Hobbs State Park During Spring Break

— Families who may be looking for outdoor and indoor fun activities during upcoming spring break season may find what they are looking for at the Hobbs State Park east of Rogers on Highway 12.

“A myriad of activities for all ages are planned at the park the week of March 20-28 including scavenger hunts, Dutch oven cookoff, nature guessing games, reading of nature stories, tree cookie necklace making, various other programs, etc., as well as permanent displays at the Hobbs Visitor Center,” park personnel announce.

There are also several hiking trails, boat tours on Beaver Lake and an archaeology program. All activities are free except the boat tours which are $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and under 6 are free. Call for information or reservations, 479-789-5000.
