GRAVETTE — Golfers are being sought to participate in the eighth annual Gravette High School Lions classic which will be held May 8 at Scottsdale Golf Course in Bella Vista.
The classic is sponsored by the Gravette High School Boosters as a major fundraiser for programs and scholarships at the high school including Drama, Music, Athletics and Cheerleaders.
The classic for both menand women is limited to the first 144 entrants who will compete for prizes including closest to the pin, hole-in-one and longest drive.
Cost for the four-person scramble is $55 per person which includes golf fees and tee favors. Lunch will be served following the play which starts at 8 a.m.
Corporate and hole sponsorships are needed and businesses and individuals may sponsor a holewith a donation of $100 or more.
Donations from $250 to $1,000 are available for corporate sponsorships which can cover up to eight players depending on the donation.
