GRAVETTE — The opening date for Gravette’s Farmer’s Market this year will be Saturday, May 29.

The announcement comes from Allyson Ransom, who directs the project which will be held at the Farmer’s Market pavilion inOld Town Park, at 110 Park Drive.

The market again this year will feature a variety of homegrown products, plants and handcrafted items.

Hours of operation for the market will be from8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Saturday, Ransom said.

The covered pavilion was constructed in the park last year through a grant from the U. S. Department of Agriculture through its promotional grant program.
