HIGHFILL — A chili supper, pie auction and silent auction will be held at the Highfill Community building to help Garvin and Ila Reid recover following a January fire which destroyed their home.

Donations of pies and items for the silent auction are welcome. Free-will offerings will be accepted for the chili suppers.

An early morning fire completely destroyed the home of the Reids at 13588 Gailey Hollow Road, Siloam Springs (in the Highfill Community), on Jan. 15. Fire departments from Highfill, Centerton, Gentry and Gallatin responded to the blaze which was called in a few minutes before 7 a.m. as a fully engulfed structure fire.
