GRAVETTE — Reports that a child riding a bicycle had been hit by a vehicle last Thursday afternoon in Gravette proved false.

According to Gravette police, the incident occurred about 3:15 p.m. on Third Avenue N.E. when an adult female apparently fell off the bicycle she was riding.

The person was not identified but “she was escorted to the hospital for observation,” the police spokesperson said.
