St. Pat’s Day Has Often Been An Experience

— Today is St. Patrick’s Day and the weather is supposed to be seasonal, whatever that means.

Past records show the day has experienced sunshine, wind, heavy rains, sleet, snow. Yes, snow, including the 8-inches that fell that day in 1948.

There have been early gardens, killing frosts and dust. Dust, a reminder and remainder from the dustbowl days when Arkansas reaped the dust from Oklahoma and Texas.

So, Happy St. Pat’s Day, however it turns out.
