Persons Sought For Council And City Committees

The City of Gravette is looking for a few good persons.

A vacancy exists in Ward 2 for a position on the Gravette City Council and persons are sought to fill vacancies on two committees.

Any registered voter in Ward 2 who has an interest in filling the remainder of the Council position term which expires December 31 of this year is asked to submit a letter of interest to City Hall. Ward 2 is all the area of the city south of Main Street and east of Highway 59.

The Council is seeking persons who are interested in serving on a committee to research the possible methods of upgrade for the Gravette Wastewater Treatment Facility. If interested, submit a letter of intent to City Hall.

The City Planning Commission is seeking persons to fill two positions on that important committee. One must reside within the city limits; the other must live in the Gravette rural planning jurisdiction. For information contact City Recorder/Treasurer Mike von Ree, 787-7138.
