WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. — Ritchie Glass of Colcord, Okla., and Connie Detherage of Fairland, Okla., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Shylah Glass, of Colcord, to Dustin Jones of Stillwater, Okla.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joyce Chamberlain of Colcord, the late Leroy Chamberlain, and the late Louis and Phyllis Glass. She is a 2005 graduate of Colcord High School, a 2006 graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and a 2008 graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she received a degree in animal science and agricultural economics. She is employed at Arvest Bank and the Siloam Springs Veterinary Clinic, both in Siloam Springs.
The prospective groom is the son of Ed Jones of Big Cabin, Okla. He’s the grandson of Clair Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the late Larion Jones, and of Lois Wilmon of Muskogee, Okla., and the late Fred Wilmon. He is a 2004 graduate of Jay High School and a 2008 graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he received a degree in animal science. He is employed at Griswold Cattle Co. in Stillwater, Okla.
The wedding and reception will take place May 22, 2010, with Larry Ellis officiating.
Harrison-Shackelford to wed
Thomas Harrison of West Siloam Springs, Okla., and Scott and Kathy Morris of Siloam Springs announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Ashley Harrison to Matthew Shackelford.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Roy and Irene Harrison of West Siloam Springs, Jeannie Thomas of Siloam Springs, Jon and Judy Ward of Marietta, Texas, and Sonny and Judy Morris of West Siloam Springs. She is a 2005 graduate of Siloam Springs High School and is currently employed at Allen Canning Co.
The prospective groom is the son of Dr. Brian and Sandi Shackelford of West Siloam Springs, and the grandson of Gale and Linda Whitmore of West Siloam Springs, Jim and Linda Shackelford of Flint, Okla., and Ervin and Pat Amos of Flint. He is a 2006 graduate of Colcord High School and is currently enrolled at Northeastern State University and employed by Allen Canning Co.
The wedding will be held at the Shackelford Farm in West Siloam Springs at 2 p.m. on May 29, 2010. Family and friends are invited.
The couple plans to reside in West Siloam Springs.
