Early Primary Vote Information Is Announced

— Early voting for the May 18 primary election began Monday of this week and will end May 17, according to the Benton County Election Commission.

This election will allow voters to choose their partisan candidates for the general election and nonpartisan judicial races.

Early voting locations are at the County Clerk’s offices at 215 E. Central in Bentonville, 300 West Poplar in Rogers and 707 S. Lincoln in Siloam Springs.

Two satellite offices will also be open: Bella Vista Fire Station Training Room in Town Center and the Prairie Creek CommunityBuilding on Arkansas Highway 12 in Rogers. Earlier it had been announced a satellite voting site would operate in Gravette but according to the commission no location was available.

Hours for each location are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Paper ballots will only be available at the clerk’s office. Voters will be asked to provide photo identification, the announcement said.

Absentee voting information is available by calling the county clerk’s office, 271-1013.
