Gravette Juniors Are Boys’ State Delegates

Tyler M. Griffin and Jeremy H. Houtchens have been selected as delegates to attend Boys State at the University of Central Arkansas later this spring.

The boys, both juniors at Gravette High School, are sponsored by American Legion Post 25.

They will spend six days at the University in Conway where they will participate in the duties of local, county and state elected officials. They will also participate in elections. They will visit the State Capitol in Little Rock, according to J. R. Gibbs, Legion Post Adjutant.

“Gravette Post 25 is thankful for the sponsorships of the Bank of Gravett and Arvest Bank of Gravette,” Gibbs said. “High School Counselor Shannon Mitchell has been instrumental in the success of this program for many years,” Gibbs added.
